Location and Facilities
Hull Collegiate School is fortunate in having some 6 acres of spectacular grounds, in what was once the historic mansion Tranby Croft, the home of shipowner Arthur Wilson and famous Baccarat scandal.
The beautiful historic building, enjoyed by generations of schoolchildren, was extended in 2005 with a multi-million-pound investment. We are easily accessible by road (close to the A63 and Humber Bridge) and rail (Brough and Hull railway stations are a 15-minute drive). The school serves a wide catchment area, with pupils travelling from Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
The Nursery, Prep, Senior School and Sixth Form are housed on the single site making it accessible for families with more than one child in different stages of their education.
In recent years, the school has seen significant refurbishment works to include a new Senior School Library, new grass pitches (to Sports England standard), a new Sports Pavilion.
These works show the emphasis we place on providing high-quality, international-standard facilities for our pupils and customers.
